2. Programming for DirecTV Receiver

The RC66RX remote is typically pre-programmed to control your DirecTV receiver. If it does not respond, ensure the remote is set to the correct mode (usually 'DIRECTV' or 'SAT' if applicable, though this model primarily functions for DirecTV). 3. Programming for TV and Other Devices (IR Mode)

To control your television or other devices (e.g., AV receiver) with the RC66RX remote, you will need to program it using IR codes. This allows the remote to control functions like TV power, volume, and input.

1. Locate the mode switch at the top of the remote. Slide it to the 'TV' position.
2. Press and hold the 'MUTE' and 'SELECT' buttons simultaneously until the green light at the top of the remote blinks twice.

IR vs. RF Mode
