This extension set allows you to expand your existing Märklin Z Scale layout. The tracks are designed for easy connection to other Märklin Z Scale track sections.

4. Install Turnouts: The set includes one left-hand (Märklin 8565) and one right-hand (Märklin 8566) manual turnout. These allow for switching between different track paths. Connect them into your layout where a branch or siding is desired. Ensure the turnout mechanism is clear of any obstructions.

4. Operating Manual Turnouts

The turnouts included in this set are manually operated. To change the direction of the train, gently move the small lever located on the side of the turnout. Ensure the points are fully shifted and aligned with the desired track before a train approaches the turnout. Forcing the lever or attempting to change direction while a train is on the turnout can cause damage to the turnout or the train.
