5.5 Pause Function (Hush Mode)
In some cases, a temporary, non-threatening source of CO (e.g., fumes from a cleaning product) might trigger a nuisance alarm. The detector may feature a 'Pause' or 'Hush' function.
- Press the 'TEST/PAUSE' button briefly during an alarm.
- This will temporarily silence the alarm for a few minutes (e.g., 5-10 minutes).
- If the CO level remains high, the alarm will reactivate after the pause period.
- Do not use the pause function if you suspect a genuine CO leak.
