The Xfinity XR2 Remote Control is designed to provide seamless control over your Xfinity HD and HD-Digital Receivers, as well as your television and audio devices. This manual will guide you through the process of setting up, operating, and maintaining your remote control.

Your XR2 remote requires four (4) AA batteries. To install:

2.2. Initial Programming and Pairing

2.2.1. Configuring for IR Mode (if needed)

If you encounter issues with your XR2 remote, try the following solutions:

- Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote and your DVR/TV if operating in IR mode.
- Remote Not Controlling TV/Audio:
- Re-attempt the TV/audio programming steps using the correct 5-digit code for your device.
- Verify that the remote is configured for the correct mode (IR or RF) as described in Section 2.2.1.
- Remote Needs Reset:
- If the remote is behaving erratically, you can perform a factory reset. Press and hold the چمتو کول button until the LED turns green, then enter 9-8-1. The LED will flash, indicating a successful reset. You will then need to re-program the remote.
