3.2 Loading a Cartridge or Sausage Pack
The STIER Cordless Cartridge Gun supports both standard cartridges and flexible sausage packs. The method of loading differs slightly.
For Cartridges:
- Ensure the gun is switched off and the battery is removed.
- Press the release lever (if present) and pull the plunger rod back completely.
- Insert the cartridge into the barrel of the gun, nozzle first.
- Cut the tip of the cartridge nozzle at the desired bead size and attach the appropriate applicator tip if necessary.
- Push the plunger rod forward until it makes contact with the back of the cartridge.
For Sausage Packs (using the 400 ml tube):
- Ensure the gun is switched off and the battery is removed.
- Unscrew the front cap and remove the plunger from the 400 ml tube.
- Insert the sausage pack into the tube. Cut off the end of the sausage pack.
- Reinsert the plunger and screw the front cap back onto the tube.
- Attach the loaded tube to the gun.
