Before installation, ensure you have a Ring Alarm Kit, as it is required for the keypad's operation. The keypad can be installed in two primary ways:

Pairing with Your Ring Alarm System

1. Ensure your Ring Alarm Base Station is powered on and in setup mode.
2. Follow the instructions within the Ring app to add a new device.
3. The app will guide you through the pairing process. If you encounter difficulties, ensure the keypad is within range of the Base Station and try again.

Operating the Keypad

The Ring Alarm Keypad (2nd Gen) allows you to manage your security system with ease. It supports three primary security modes:

Emergency Response Buttons

The 2nd Gen Keypad includes dedicated emergency response buttons for Police, Fire, and Medical assistance. Pressing any of these buttons will immediately trigger the alarm and initiate the appropriate emergency response, provided you have a compatible Ring Home subscription.
