Filters typically last 6 to 12 months depending on air quality. After operating for 4320 hours, the 'replace filter' light will turn on to remind you. Both HEPA and Activated Carbon filters must be replaced at the same time.
The pre-filter can be washed with water once removed from the unit. Ensure it is completely dry before placing it back into the appliance, and avoid using sharp objects to clean it.
After replacing the filters, press and hold the power or filter reset button for 5 seconds. This will restart the system and stop the 'replace filter' indicator from flashing.
Once the moisture indicator beads turn green, remove the dehumidifier and plug it into an electrical socket using the provided lead. It takes about 10 to 15 hours for the beads to turn orange again, indicating it is fully regenerated.
